Happy New Year-Update from Little Monsters

2021 has been a challenging year for many of us including my family but I have always been a positive thinker and believe things in our lives happen for a reason. After taking voluntary redundancy from a career of 30 years I decided to set up my online business. Not a great time set up a business but when would it have been a good time? Anyway I was very proud of my self for setting up Little Monsters with very little knowledge of setting up a website. I underestimated the time and effort it took to set everything up from scratch.

Just when I thought, yes' I'm in control and everything is done all I need is to do is serve my wonderful customers with the beautiful baby and toddler items in my store, along comes an addition to our family of four, a surprise birthday gift for me from my lovely husband. Frank a 'mini dachshund'. I have always had Cats and having an 8 week old puppy to deal with just when I got my website up and running and had to devote time to advertise and promote etc was really hard. It was basically like having another child/toddler in the house. Not sure if I made it more difficult for my self than needed but Frank is absolutely devoted to me and I love him very much which did not help matters at all because he had and still has me wrapped around his fingers:) He is 18 weeks old now and just beginning to get into some routine so I'll be able to spend more time on my mini business.

So this has been me for the last few months of 2021, I hope 2022 will be a better year for everyone including all the small businesses that have suffered as a result of the pandemic.
